The 2011 Church Summer Campout will be held at Pine Valley North Campground, group site C on July 22 thru July 25th. This campground is located at an elevation of 7440 feet and is 11 miles east from Kamas, Utah driving along the beautiful Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (UT-150). Nearby trailheads at North Fork and Shingle Creek for trails leading north into the Erickson Basin, dotted with alpine lakes. Forest Road 035, across the road from the campground, turns into trail # 068 and terminates at Big Elk Lake. Enjoy scenic views, fishing the area lakes and rivers, hiking area trails, or picnicking. The church campout is a great way for UUs and friends to meet for fun during the summer, so mark your calendars now. There are a total of 7 sites in group C. Each site has two 16 foot tables, 1 utility table, 1 large pedestal grill, 1 large fire ring.
