Worship Options for Parents of Infants and Toddlers
Families who wish to keep young children with them who are too fidgety to sit quietly in the Sanctuary are very welcome to watch the live broadcast of the service in community in our social hall. This is also a good place for parents to sit who wish to be in and out to check on their children and/or wish to be accessible to childcare providers should a child who is working through a phase of separation anxiety become very upset.
The service also can be viewed by closed circuit television in the Nursery (room 114) by parents with infants or very young children who are not comfortable separating from their parent. The nursery offers baby toys, diaper changing facilities, and rocking chairs for your use. It is a relatively private space that can be used for nursing. Parents/guardians care for their own children in the nursery.
Childcare for Infants and Toddlers
The church provides childcare for children up to about 3 years old in the Infant/Toddler classroom (room 109). This class is staffed by a paid caregiver in order to provide the continuity and consistency that is developmentally needed for the children to feel safe and comfortable in their church experience.
