    Each Fall Reverend Tom Goldsmith kicks off a new season of Jazz Vespers, a concert series featuring top-notch, local jazz musicians. Jazz Vespers has been running for over 25 years and always plays to a full house. Concert time is 7:30. Please arrive early for our very popular Jazz Vespers series to make sure you get a seat.

  • Ingathering Sunday this Sunday, September 10th

    Ingathering is the official kickoff for the 2017-2018 church year. We resume our regular service schedule with services at 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

    Religious Education classes for children and youth also resume this Sunday at the 11:00 am service. Kids will process into the chapel during services to be welcomed to a new church year.

    Our Religious Education Program (RE) provides childcare at the 9:00 and 11:00 am service in room 109 for infants and toddler

What to Expect

Warm greetings to all who contemplate their first visit to First Unitarian Church.
We hope that our progressive church community will prove welcoming in all respects.

Service Times

Sundays

We are currently on our summer schdule. Summer Forum presentations happen each Sunday at 10 am. through August 20th. Childcare is provided for young children during Summer Forum. 

We will return to worship services on August 27th, and our Religious Education classes resume on September 11th.

The church is located on the corner of 1300 East and 600 South in Salt Lake City, Utah.

 

Sunday School

We are currently on our summer schedule. Religious Education Classes for children and youth will resume on September 11, 2017. Childcare for young children is available during the summer.

Parking

Plenty of on-street parking exists plus visitors may use the parking lot of Friendship Manor at the corner of 1300 East and 500 South. Enter the parking lot from either of Friendship Manor's two driveways and make your way south towards the church's 78 parking stalls.
