January 10th Sermon: "Responding to Insurrection" by Rev. Tom Goldsmith

07 January 2021

Welcome

The earth-shattering events of January 6th have led to a change in the worship service and format for this Sunday, January 10th.  There will be one service live on Zoom at 10:00am.  The Zoom link is below and will also be on our church's website. The service on January 10th is "Responding to Insurrection." The purpose of the service is to draw together as a community, sharing our concerns, hopes, and fear.Immediately following the worship team's shortened service, the congregation will have an opportunity to address one another. We will follow a format as though we were meeting live in our chapel. We will have a virtual mic available to everyone who simply posts a request in the chat. Our sharing will be carefully monitored to avoid everyone speaking at once. David will be playing live from the chapel. Amanda will continue her Time for all Ages, and Monica and Tom will offer their reflections. Please join us on Sunday, January 10th, as we gather in community to address our deepest concerns about our nation.
