Building Community

Since the fall of 2013, families have been meeting on the first Monday of the each month for Family Fun Night. This event brings over 20 families a month to form community and strengthen friendships. On Family Fun Night a volunteer makes a communal dinner for everyone to share and then break off into different activities. We’ve had authors like Robert Fulghum, worked on service projects for the VOA Homeless Teen Shelter, played Minute to Win It games, and engaged in lively discussions with Rev. Tom.
