Dana Williamson is the Founder & CEO. Dana has a Bachelors in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Operations Management from California State University at Long Beach as well as a MBA from Westminster College. Her passion for food, education and the environment brought her to start Waste Less Solutions in 2018. She was driven to be part of the solution to help educate people on the harmful environmental impacts of food waste and bring creative solutions to help reduce the amount of food waste, including a food rescue program. She led the organization part-time as an unpaid volunteer for four and a half years until Jul 2022 when the organization raised enough funds to bring her on full time as the CEO. Dana is certified in Full Utilization Kitchen by James Beard Foundation. She has been a featured speaker at Westminster Thinks Big event at Westminster College, Intermountain Sustainability Summit at Weber State University, the United Nations Sustainable Cities Conference and was a featured speaker at TEDx Salt Lake City.
