What to Expect

Warm greetings to all who contemplate their first visit to First Unitarian Church.
We hope that our progressive church community will prove welcoming in all respects.

We are using a multi-platform schedule.  Be sure to check the Upcoming Services page for scheduling information.

Mask Optional

First Church wants to ensure everyone is safe and welcome on our campus. To that end, this year we will be asking folks participating in events with food, to label the dishes they bring and either list the main ingredients, leave them in their original packaging, or fill out this common allergen form. Copies of the form will be available at each event, as well for folks to fill out at the event as well. These small steps can help people with severe food allergies be able to participate more fully in our church-wide events!

A reminder to everyone as we hit the cold/flu/covid-19 season:

If you do not feel well, please stay home. Rest, relax, take care of yourself, and join the Sunday Service on Zoom.

Here is some information and recommendations to help you make healthy decisions for you and those around you.

Click here for the Utah.gov recommendations for Covid-19, Flu and RSV vaccines. If you don't have insurance, the Salt Lake County Health Dept offers no cost vaccinations for Covid-19.

Stay home if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or test positive.  A 10-day isolation is still the very safest length of time to stay home after you test positive with symptoms, then wear a well-fitting mask around others and in public for 10 more days after you end your isolation. If you have no symptoms after testing positive, CDC is suggesting 5 days isolation, 5 days wearing a mask after isolation.

May we have a healthy winter season, and hold the Flu/RSV/Covid-19 to a minimum…and if you do get sick, may you heal quickly!
